I’m Kira Evans, founder and designer behind Seed + Sow Home. So glad you’re here!

My journey into interior design began with a career in film and photography. This experience exposed me to a wide range of spaces; from historic rooms at Hearst Castle to the extravagant homes of the Hollywood Hills and everything in between! This exposure ignited a passion in me, one that grew as I tackled home projects of my own and assisted friends in transforming their spaces.

An understanding of lighting and composition combined with a deep appreciation for the beauty of mother nature, have given me a unique perspective when it comes to shaping interiors. Travel has been a significant part of my life, giving me the opportunity to absorb inspiration from a diverse array of cultures, landscapes and lifestyles from all over the world. I am continually inspired by the world around me and always eager to incorporate what I’ve learned into my designs.

My design philosophy revolves around creating tranquil, meaningful spaces. I believe that everyone deserves a calm inviting space that not only meets their needs, but also inspires greatness in their daily life. By blending calming natural elements with clean modern lines, I aim to craft spaces that are not only functional but also inviting and inspiring. As a mother of a young boy and two energetic dogs, I understand the need for practicality in home design. Yet, I believe a home should be more than just functional; it should be a canvas for self-expression, comfort, and beauty. I understand the importance of creating environments that truly reflect the personalities and lifestyles of those who inhabit them.
